The New York Women’s Culinary Alliance is an organization of professional women in the food and wine industry, dedicated to encouraging cooperation, networking, and education among its members. The Alliance is committed to fostering and promoting the common professional interests of women in the culinary field in the New York City metro area. Our membership includes a cross-section of distinguished food professionals in the New York City area.
Our goals include the preservation and sharing of culinary information through member-generated programs. The Alliance provides members with continuing educational opportunities by sponsoring ongoing food and wine tastings, hands-on workshops, field trips and business-related seminars. The Alliance assumes a dynamic role in community affairs, particularly through outreach programs and fund-raising for women's health issues. Additionally, we work with adults and children in need to teach them the basics of nutrition, food buying and healthful meal preparation. |
