NYWCA Skills Workshop: Cookbook Publishing

In this one-night workshop, NYWCA members and cookbook authors Jennifer Abadi and Rebecca Miller Ffrench will discuss the cookbook publishing process, from organizing a cookbook idea and finding an agent, to recipe testing and writing acknowledgments. Comparing traditional and non-traditional (self-) publishing methods, Jennifer and Rebecca will share their own personal experiences of each. Attendees are invited to contribute their own observations and tips for publishing during the evening.

Signed copies of Jennifer’s latest cookbook, Too Good To Passover, will be available for purchase at the event for a discounted member price of $25/each, as well as Rebecca’s latest cookbook, Whole Protein Vegetarian,for a discounted member price of $18/each. (A limited number of copies will be available during the workshops; if you know that you would like to purchase a signed copy of either cookbook, please email Jennifer or Rebecca directly ahead of time.)
