Mid-Autumn Moon Festival: Tea & Mooncakes

Join Grace Young and Alice Liu, second-generation owner of Grand Tea & Imports, as they co-host a special tea tasting in celebration of the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival.

One of the most beloved festivals in Chinese culture, the Mid-Autumn Festival is a time for family and friends to gather, give thanks, and celebrate togetherness. Traditionally, people gaze at the luminous full moon while sipping tea and sharing sweet mooncakes, whose round shape symbolizes reunion, harmony, and completeness.

Alice will guide guests through a tasting of specially selected Chinese teas paired with traditional mooncakes, while sharing the stories and traditions behind this centuries-old celebration. Each guest will receive a selection of teas from Grand Tea & Imports’ fine collection to take home.
